We have acted for the Hawthorne family, who run a very successful in hand and contract farming business, Flawborough Farms, for many years. Together, with Hugh providing ‘family governance’ amongst other input, we have ridden the roller coaster of farming in good and less good years. The business has expanded, now involves new enterprises/approaches, and sits, ready to react on the cusp of an anticipated and exciting period of change in the sector.
We are a family owned and run partnership being helped and guided by the Hub Rural team through a period of generational change and succession. Agriculture in general is going through some dramatic and unprecedented changes. These changes are sure to bring a mixture of opportunities and undoubtedly some obstacles to navigate.
